1990 Hinterhoeller Nonsuch 33

OVERVIEW:  

It is likely that you are already familiar with the design and layout of the Nonsuch 33.  These boats have become iconic for being excellent performance cruising vessels, and there is even an active one-design class.  While not meant as a racing boat, many owners race them actively.

The on-deck layout is excellent, highlighted by a deep, safe and comfortable cockpit, with excellent visibility forward.  The dodger does a great job of protecting the cockpit.  Side decks are wide, hand holds are proper, and bulwarks rise as you go forward, giving a sense of greater safety on deck.  

The anchor handling platform is superb, an essential feature of a proper cruising vessel.

And of course, the unstayed rig with wishbone boom makes sailing both hyper-efficient and tremendously simple.  Many people believe that owning a Nonsuch makes their sailing more enjoyable and extends their sailing years.

The interior is exceptional, especially for a 33 foot vessel.  This layout offers a fantastic salon, a roomy galley, a head with separate stall shower, and a spacious forward cabin with an offset double. The salon dinette converts easily to a second double berth with a "camel legged" folding table pedestal.

The U-shaped galley features a 3 burner propane stove with oven, a SS sink with manual and pressure water, Sea Frost refrigeration, Bass remote propane solenoid control, and exceptional storage.  A dedicated trash locker tilts out for convenience.

The interior wood is teak, varnished, and in fantastic condition.  The sole is teak and holley, and includes a solid teak grated area adjacent to the companionway steps to allow water tracked inside to drain to the bilge.  

There is a lovely Sorenson gimbaled oil lamp in the main salon - very classy.
