Bounder is becoming more and more rare in the yacht market.  A classic Downeast hull from the renowned builder Jarvis Newman.  Then passed on to the world renowned custom yacht builders at Lyman-Morse to build out the interior and systems and finish.  Add to this that Bounder is still owned by the original owners and stored and maintained at Lyman-Morse.

Over the years, the owners have continued to update and maintain Bounder, so she will have many more years of great cruising  Some of the more notable projects are:

Construction

Bounders hull was built by the highly regarded Jarvis Newman Boatyard.  Once her structure was completed, the vessel was shipped to Lyman-Morse to have system and interior custom built to the owners specifications.

Interior

Bounder's interior is a very beautiful version of the classic Herreshoff aesthetics with the varnished teak and holly sole throughout.  All the furniture and cabinetry is white paint with varnished raised mahogany trim and doors. Overheads are white with laminated mahogany beams and trim.

 

Pilothouse:

 

Walking in from the aft deck Bounder has a center doorway accessing the ample pilothouse.  One of the boat's greatest features is her full size sofa that folds out to a queen bed located on the starboard side.  On port there is an "L" settee with salon table with two fold up leaves.
