VESSEL DESCRIPTION

ACCOMODATIONS Picnic Boat EP (Extended Pilothouse) sleeps two comfortably forward in a V-berth arrangement and includes a separate head with a hand held shower; and galley area. There is an entertainment area in the extended pilothouse with “L-shaped” seating under cover to the port side, and additional seating in the cockpit.

The interior is CUSTOM finished in satin-varnished cherry, including forward v-berth hull side sheathing. The custom cabin sole is varnished teak and holly and has a cabin sole cover. There are custom varnished teak finished surfaces added throughout the interior for a complete teak wood finish.

• Opening overhead hatch and four opening ports below (including head and galley) with removable screens.
• Five Frigast stainless steel 12-volt lamps provide plenty of interior lighting.
• Reverse-cycle 12,000 BTU Heat/Air Conditioning - with ducts in main cabin, head and pilothouse

• All new Fusion audio system with multiple speakers.

V-BERTH (Forward):

• Adapter with cushion forms a double berth
• Cushions upholstered with blue bottoms and blue & white stripe backrests in Sunbrella.
• Varnished cherry shelves outboard port and starboard.
• Storage under the V-berth with shelf and cherry drop front door.
• Storage and access to the anchor in the forepeak behind a louvered cherry door.
• Hanging locker to starboard just aft of the V-berths.

Other features include: 

• Two Hella fans.
• Additional teak added to V-berth skirt board.
• Additional teak added to interior cabin sides.
• Additional teak and holly added to floor/hull sides.

HEAD (Starboard): Head is aft of the hanging locker with a solid cherry door.

Amenities include:

• Varnished cherry countertop has an under mounted white porcelain sink.
• Grohe faucet/hand held shower with additional custom wall shower system and faucet povides hot & cold pressure water.
• Vacu-flush marine head.
• Mirror on the forward bulkhead with cherry frame.
• 110-volt outlet.
• Opening port with screen.
• Hella fan.
• Air conditioning vent.
• (2) Frigast 12-volt lights.

Storage is provided by cherry-faced lockers above and outboard the vanity, a drawer with a cherry face beside the marine head, and a locker under the vanity.

GALLEY (Port):

• Adler Barbour refrigeration – 12-volt cold plate refrigerator in a self draining box, with lift top access in custom Corian countertop.
• Force 10 two-burner stove with remote propane shut-off and wood cover.
• Microwave oven (110-volt).
• Stainless steel sink with Grohe fixtures, sprayer and pressure hot & cold fresh water system.
• Pull-out under counter garbage receptacle.
• (3) Cherry pull-out drawers.
• 110-volt outlet.
• 12-volt outlet.
• Red step-light in galley.
• Opening port with screen.

Sandstone Corian countertop has a stainless steel sink with Grohe fixtures, spray nozzle, and hot and cold pressure water. The stove is set in the countertop forward and has a custom wood stove cover/cutting board that adds to the already ample counter space surrounding the sink. The refrigeration is mounted aft of the sink and is accessed by a lift-up top with a hold open arm.

The galley is separated from the V-berth area with a “pantry” locker with louvered door and shelves. There is a remote propane shut-off. Additional storage is provided outboard and under the galley sink, and there is a pullout trash bin. The galley has an opening port with screen.

 

PILOTHOUSE (Extended)

The pilothouse interior is CUSTOM TEAK finished, including dash and vertical bulkhead surfaces; also the interior window frames and cockpit coamings are finished in varnished teak. There is a teak locking companionway door. Two varnished teak handrails are under the aft ends of the pilothouse cabin top and a varnished teak handrail is on the aft end of the pilothouse roof.

• Custom teak pilothouse sole.
• Insulated white overhead has four (4) acrylic opening hatches with screens.
• Additional illumination is by rheostat controlled overhead low voltage halogen lights.
• (4) Pilothouse windows include: (2) Sliding side windows and (2) Fixed forward with heavy duty, self-parking, intermittent windshield wipers and fresh water washers.
• Air conditioning vent.
• Ivory color drop curtains with windows provide a fully enclosed pilothouse.
• Ivory color interior window sun covers for all four pilothouse windows.

Forward Pilothouse has new Stidd helm and passenger seats on powder-coated pedestals are finished in Duratouch Ivory Ultra-Leather that are height and fore/aft adjustable and can swivel to face aft. There are stainless steel footrests.

• (2) Removable Hella fans with rheostat control in forward outboard corners.

The forward port passenger area has a varnished teak integral handrail/cup holder on the forward bulkhead.

Helm Station (Starboard):

• Custom varnished teak instrument pod is extra-large to accommodate two large displays.
• Custom varnished teak vertical bulkhead surfaces.
• Stainless steel 14” steering wheel with varnished wood rim.
• “Jet Stick” ICAN
• Engine gauges.
• ACR spotlight remote control pad.
• Top-opening locker with stainless steel hold open spring arm and chart storage outboard of helm seat.
• 12-volt outlet in chart pocket and remote switches to spotlight. Upgraded to USB
• Two cup holders.
• Custom mounted U-line icemaker is in a varnished louvered door locker outboard the helm seat.

Next aft, the extended pilothouse roof shades additional seating with a L-shaped settee with varnished teak shelf rim to port that faces inboard and forward

• There is locker stowage beneath the settee.
• Varnished teak table with removable pedestal can be lowered to form a sheltered, comfortable “kid-sized” berth and the tabletop is hinged to fold to a smaller triangular table allowing use flexibility.
• Two of the four opening hatches with screens are over the aft pilothouse area.

 

COCKPIT More seating is available on the Picnic EP engine box that has an integrated propane Bar-B-Q grill and cooler with an aft-facing cushioned seat. Seats are finished matching Sunbrella Forest Green Taupe Rib fabric with an Ivory color weather cover.

The cockpit grill includes a Force 10 LP gas BBQ grill, and sink with faucet, also a storage drawer. The entire engine box/grill and seat is hinged on the aft end and has electric-assist lift for easy access to the engine.

Aft:

  Full-width settee has back and seat cushions finished in Sunbrella fabric in blue bottom and blue & white seatbacks fabric and has an Ivory color weather cover. Aft settee includes two hinged lids under the cushions to allow access to removable storage tubs and to below deck equipment. There are molded-in port and starboard cup holders.

Cockpit features include:

• Custom teak cockpit sole with direct overboard drainage scuppers.
• Varnished teak cockpit coaming.
• There is a side teak boarding step and a stainless steel cockpit step with teak treads that mounts port or starboard with stainless steel brackets.
• Full Ivory color cockpit cover (mooring cover) attaches to pilothouse roof edge and with snaps around the outside of the cockpit coaming.
• Cockpit courtesy lights under coaming port and starboard on a dimmer.
• Cockpit shower with mixing valve is located under starboard deck.

 

HULL AND EQUIPMENT Construction of the hull is Kevlar E-glass hybrid and balsa core, SCRIMPed with vinylester resin. Deck and cockpit is E-glass and balsa core, molded with polyester resin. The deck and cockpit sole have a molded-in nonskid pattern.

Aft, the heavy duty fiberglass swim platform has teak insert treads, stainless steel brackets and half round rubrail, and a stainless steel telescoping 3-step folding swim ladder.

• Rounded, tapered, varnished teak toerail with Hinckley profile.
• Varnished teak eyebrow molding around cabin top.
• Four (4) opening elliptical ports on house sides.
• Hinckley pilothouse mast with spotlight and 24” Radome are painted to match deck.
• (3) Low profile opening aluminum hatches with screens.
• Stainless steel half round on fiberglass molded rub rail.
• Custom Hinckley 316L stainless steel bow chocks.
• Bow, stern and springline 316L stainless steel mooring cleats.
• Padeyes with chafe strips to hang fenders.
• Bow, stern and springline 316L stainless steel mooring cleat.

• Bow varnished burgee pennant staff with flush socket.
• Stern mounted 4 ft. varnished teak ensign pole & socket.

Muir electric windlass pkg: Flush foredeck anchor locker houses a Muir electric windlass with Delta 22# anchor + 15” SS chain & 150’ anchor rode and stainless steel bow roller. The windlass can be operated from the helm station or a handheld remote at anchor locker.

 

ELECTRICAL 12-volt DC electrical system:

• (3) 12-volt batteries for a total of 540 amps.
• 80-amp battery alternator.
• Heavy-duty battery parallel switch also allows emergency starting
• Battery Main disconnect switches.

110-volt 30-amp AC electrical system:

• Heart Freedom 10 inverter.
• AC electrical panel and DC sub-panel.
• (2) 110-volt shore power inlet, house service and aircon service.
• (2) 30-amp shore cords.
• 110-volt outlets at head and galley.

Also:

• Low resistance, heavy copper and zinc anode electrical bonding system.

MECHANICAL 2002 Yanmar 6LYA-STP 440HP diesel engine (775 hours 02/2024) with Hamilton 292 Jet Drive, ZF IRM220PL transmission and bow thruster. Hinckley custom “Jet Stick” control system is integrated with the bow thruster.
